Our process

Consultation
Your experience begins with a free consultation to custom-design your portrait session. We will discuss how to prepare for the session, including styling issues, hydration, nutrition and proper rest. All these factors affect your pregnancy glow. Believe it or not, modeling in front of the camera can be a pretty exciting yet complex endeavor.

We end the consultation by scheduling the portrait session.

Portrait session
Belly Beautiful will provide the props and materials needed to stage the background. Mothers are encouraged to bring their favorite maternity outfit.

The whole portrait experience is set on your terms, and can take between 1.5–2.5 hours.

At the end of the session we will schedule a day when you can come in and select your best portraits.

Portrait selection
On the day of selection we will go through all your photos and decide on your most favorite portraits, as well as print(s) size, and color (black-and-white, sepia or full color).

After making the selection all purchased images will be digitally retouched and enhanced, printed on fine-art paper and delivered. A typical turnaround from the time we select the desired portraits until delivery is 5-7 working days, depending on the size of the order.

All photos are archived digitally for up to 12 months and are available for purchase.
